Siem Reap is the gateway to the legendary Angkor temples, one of the world's most significant archaeological sites. The town has evolved from a simple temple town into a vibrant destination with excellent restaurants, traditional Apsara dance shows, and the famous Pub Street nightlife.
Beyond Angkor, Siem Reap offers floating villages on Tonle Sap Lake, the Landmine Museum, traditional craft workshops, and some of Cambodia's best cuisine. The town strikes a pleasant balance between tourist facilities and authentic Khmer culture.
