Ta Prohm is the atmospheric temple famously overrun by jungle, where massive silk-cotton and strangler fig trees wrap their roots around ancient stones. The temple was intentionally left in this state to show the power of nature over human creation.
Made famous as the "Tomb Raider Temple" from the Angelina Jolie film, Ta Prohm creates an otherworldly atmosphere where forest and ruins merge. Originally a Buddhist monastery, it once housed over 12,000 people.
